The Stadium Mode offers
three different ways to pass the time while your friends are still in class,
at work, or incarcerated. Target Test from the original game returns, along
with the new additions of Home Run Contest and Multi-Man Melee. You'll
want to master these mini-modes, since they are the key to unlocking some
of the game's secrets. |

Target Test
Target Test Mode makes a
welcome return from the original Smash Bros. For those of you new to the
world of Smash Bros., you must break ten targets in a side scrolling arena.
Sound easy? Wrong. Each character has his or her own arena, and each must
use his or her unique skills to break them all. Clearing all the Target
Tests is the only way to unlock some secrets, and the game keeps track
of your best times, so you can keep coming back to try and top yourself. |
Home Run Contest
In what will probably be
the most popular mini-mode in SSBM, Home Run Contest has you attacking
a poor schlub named Sandbag with a Home Run Bat, trying to knock him as
far as you can. It seems simple at first, but then it becomes very addictive.
If you want to score good distances, first beat up Sandbag, then send him
sailing with a Home Run Bat Smash Attack. |

Multi-Man Melee
Multi-Man Melee contains
several different fights against Team Wireframe and each has it's own specific
goal.
10-Man Melee - How
fast can you defeat 10 opponents?
100 Man Melee - Fight
against 100, increasingly more powerful opponents.
3 Minute Melee -
How many opponents can you defeat in three minutes?
15 Minute Melee -
Survive an onslaught of enemies for 15 minutes
Endless Melee - Fight
until your opponents knock you off the screen.
Cruel Melee - Your
opponents are extremely powerful. |
